Day-1
So, I am writing after a
loonngg… time and do not know from where to start, which trip, which language....and
also, do not know whether in this era of quick entertainment, reels and you
tube anyone will really read this? well then, I thought let’s write for myself.
So now today onwards it’s
my diary…A Travel Dairy.
So, from where to start???
From my last trip? or from my city? or from most loved trip?
Ok let’s start with a last
Years' spiritual trip……Ayodhya-Kashi- Prayagraj.
To be very frank that was not
at all in my list for the year but sometimes it’s God wish. So last year in
month of January my mother-in-law told me that she wanted to visit Ayodhya, but I was little skeptical and told her that no, no, we are not much interested, at least
right now, you plan with some group or with someone and then our discussion
ended.
And in coming days...do
not know what happened and situation folded like that, we made the plan to go to
Ayodhya. After adjusting leaves, school and festivals we fixed our plan. All
five of us (Me, my husband, kid, mother-in-law and father-in-law) were ready
to visit in the month of April.
I
still remember the day when I was sitting in the flight of Akasa Airways early
morning and flight was about to take off for the Ayodhya; I was having tears in
my eyes and still do not know why. ………..
Cab was ready and we directly proceeded to
Ayodhya temple premises. We actually told
someone to arrange the passes but could not connect with that guy and finally proceeded
to the normal entry and got wheelchairs for my In-laws as they both were 75
plus. Mandir was still in construction stage but it was very clean with all necessary
arrangements and at 11:55 a.m. we were inside the temple and Arati started. What a
blissful feeling it was..a beautiful black statute of “Lord Ram” and I could
only say one word “Thank You”.If you are visiting this temple, make sure you
also pay attention to architectural marvel of this temple, its so so beautiful.
Then It was lunch time, had
some local food and roamed around the temple premises and visited several
temples like Hanuman Garhi, Kanak Bhawan, and Nageshwar Nath Temple.
After some local shopping
we checked-in in our hotel named Park Inn by Radisson Ayodhya.
Hotel was comfortable and
weather was pleasant, especially in the evening. I really enjoyed their open
terrace restaurant. Cool breeze and sense of satisfaction….it was a wonderful
day.
